  • dang, i haven't been on xanga in forever. 

    just a quick update: college is super fun, but classes are pretty tough. i need to work on my study habits :b
    i had a chem midterm on friday.. i thought i did good, but turns out i got a 75 :'(
    next is the bio midterm on monday.. i should have studied WAY MORE than i did this weekend. sigh. tomorrow's going to be crazy study time. AND laundry time.. i've never done laundry here before, but i haven't been back home in 2 weeks and i'm running out of clothes -_- 

    anyway, dorming is so much fun! i love Gondolin, and all my friends in this hall. My hall mates are so much fun, and smart too.. and they're pretty mischievous.. for a while things kept mysteriously disappearing from rooms. and one time someone got his whole wardrobe stolen! then in the middle of the night it reappeared mysteriously in the hallway LOL good stuff

    well i guess that's it for now.. it's 4:18 AM. i should sleep or else i'll fall asleep while studying tomorrow. blehhh

  • almost time to move in.. time passed by so slowly, yet so quickly at the same time. o.O
    I still can't believe that this summer is ending (it all felt like a dream..) and that i'll be starting college soon! So much happened in these past 3 months.. super long post about AID and everything else coming up soon..
    This almost being in college, not seeing everyone I've BEEN seeing for the past 4 years, packing to move in to my dorm situation is really throwing me off.. -_-

  • I haven't been on xanga in forever.. and the whole thing changed again -_-

    this past month has been.. just amazing. i'll write more about it later because it'd take me a long time to put everything that happened and all the awesomeness into words, and i'm running out of battery, and my grandparents will be mad that i've been on the computer for so long..

    all i'll say for now is.. this summer was epic.

  • AID has finally begun!! Today was the first day.. basically check in at the training center (chientan) and orientation and stuff. Dinner is at 5 PM everyday.. wtfff it's so early! haha and the uniforms this year are quite ugly haha.. the shirt part is a purply pinky lavender ish color and the collar is dark purple -_- hahaha sigh oh well.. and we only get 2 shirts to wear for the entire program.. which is one month long -_______-
    LOL what an experience this will be..

    I met my group mates (7 other girls who will be going to teach at the same school as me) and they're all so nice/funny etcc :]
    I'm not sleeping in the same room as them though.. we got separated :'(

    ANYWAYS.. i'm excited that it's finally started! I waited so long for this hehehe. i hope it goes well!!

    oh and.. i got this gimongous gross bug bite on the back of my knee and it got all swollen and itchy.. and now it feels weird to bend my knee :'(
    i hate mosquitos! but.. luckily i only got one so far. it's a record :3

  • I'm in Taiwan! it's my 2nd day here.. and so far no bug bites which is an amazing accomplishment! i guess taking all those vitamin B complexes and vitamin E's worked out after all (:
    I love it here. i loveee my family. and i really really love this little bird that my family got. His name is Bao Bao and he stole my heart! haha :D
    it's really really hot and it feels like i'm perpetually in a hot, steamy shower.. minus the water though. X]

    I really miss my friends though and also my momma. i soooort of miss my dad hahaha. and i definitely miss my bobo. :(

    ooh time to go eat 牛肉麵！！(beef noodles!)
    i already ate a ton of good food. i'll probably gain weight (finally) haha :D

    the only thing that kind of sucks is.. my relatives/everyone we see keep saying that annie is soooo cute and pretty and she got sooo much prettier and she's so great at make up and looks soooo good all the time and she has BEAUTIFUL teeth and blah blah blah prettiness.
    and all they say to me is: why aren't you more like annie? why can't you do your hair like annie? why didn't you grow any taller? why are your teeth kind of crooked unlike annie's? why are your fingernails blue.. it's scary! blah blah blah ugliness.
    kind of can't wait to get away from my perfect sister for a month.. i just feel extra ugly around her. and she's not very nice about it either.. she also criticizes me all the time. sigh :(
    i'll definitely miss her though.. she's leaving for america the day i get back from AID.

  • must.finish.packing... so tired!

    Friday: went out with my momma to run errands. and at night went to Downtown Disney with Henry! it was pretty fun.. I haven't been there since WF 2008 haha. we just walked around, people watched, looked at RIDICULOUSLY expensive stuff, watched fireworks!, anddd went home. Oh and go lost in the parking lot.. yeah we're cool. XD

    Saturday: woke up at 10, got ready and went to pick up Josh Lee, went to cinema city at 11:15 but the tickets for toy story 3 at 11:20 were SOLD OUT.. i was so depressed! so we went to Golden Spoon to eat our feelings haha. Then got my mommy some lunch and dropped it off. Josh was gonna go home but then decided to come along with me and estel to Irvine Spectrum! It was pretty fun, lots of shopping.. and i'm starting to regret buying some things cuz.. idk i seem to have a lot of tops already haha sighhhh. SIGHHHH!!! idk. anyway.. we ran into bryan, caleb, and scott (:
    ate at red robin's for dinnerr, sped home, bought tickets for toy story 3, dropped by mehron's house for his grad party for like 5 minutes, sped back to cinema, ran into the theater, got seats in the FRONT, and watched the BEST movie ever! no joke.. i love toy story 3. :] and i cried too hahaha. anyway it was a good day.

    now i have to finish packing cuz... i have more stuff to do tomorrow! bye bye

  • i. am. tired.

    time is moving too fast. i still have a ton of things to buy, things to do, things to plan, people to spend time with, and just.. stuff. 

    I'll be out of here in 5 days.. getting kind of nervous. i dunno what to do for teaching.. what if the kids hate me :(

    i dunno what to do about a lot of things right now.. . . .. . sigh
